The scientists created a novel material using lithium that operates 30 percent quicker than any materials previously documented. This substance, composed of lithium, antimony, and scandium, not only broke records but also holds potential for future practical uses.
“We think this finding might have wider applications for improving conductivity across various other substances,” stated Jingwen Jiang, who contributed to the study detailing these discoveries. The research team proposes that the underlying concepts behind the creation of these innovative batteries may also pave the way for additional advancements.
