SpaceX Sets Sights on Early Monday Morning Falcon 9 Launch From Cape Canaveral, Florida

At six minutes past midnight: This is when SpaceX intends to send off its upcoming Falcon 9 rocket early on Monday morning from Florida’s Space Coast.

SpaceX
is currently aiming for 12:06 a.m. on Monday, May 11
, to send off the Falcon 9 for yet another Starlink mission from pad 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.

For the Starlink 6-83 mission, the Falcon 9 rocket is scheduled to release a set of 28 Starlink web satellites into a low-Earth orbital path, heading southeast. This launch is not expected to produce any sonic booms over Central Florida.

Notably, the rocket’s first-stage booster is set for its 28th mission, followed by an attempt to land on a SpaceX drone ship in the ocean approximately eight minutes post-launch.

following Saturday’s 2:28 a.m. launch for the Starlink mission
From Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, which also released a batch of 28 Starlink internet satellites into orbit.
