Trinity Health Empowers Future Healthcare Heroes with Ultrasound Equipment Donation

MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) – Students from local high schools in Minot got practical exposure to using ultrasound machines.

Trinity Health
contributed several of its former devices to health initiatives in educational institutions.

Techs from Trinity went to Minot High and Minot North to demonstrate to students how these devices can be lifesavers.

One of the six Minot High School students who participated in a demonstration last week was 11th-grader Mylah Shaw.

Mylah expresses her desire to pursue a career in the medical field someday, with a particular interest in working in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

“It was incredibly exciting because I had the opportunity to try out the ultrasound machines, and it was equally fascinating when they showed me how to identify what we were viewing,” explained Mylah.

Trinity Health received new ultrasound equipment thanks to a donation from the
Helmsley Charitable Trust.

Trinity Leadership stated that this collaboration with the educational institutions will aid in nurturing upcoming healthcare experts.
