Figma to Qt

In addition, the World Summit featured the launch of a stand-alone Figma to Qt plug-in available for free. As a web-based tool, it enables developers to convert their designs directly from Figma into QML applications without leaving the platform.

Here’s an entirely new design-to-code tool that allows for the direct exporting of Figma creations into any integrated development environment (IDE), producing neat and ready-for-production QML code.

Similar to many others, Qt is also proceeding with investments in artificial intelligence. Through the enhancement of features via newly added support for large language models utilizing Sonnet, VClaude 3.7, and DeepSeek v3, Qt aims to assist developers in reclaiming their time from mundane tasks so they can return to engaging in significant programming activities.

These tools aim to handle the more routine tasks for developers, such as generating documentation, providing explanations, writing test cases, and producing boilerplate QML code.

These newly added features collectively aim to provide a smooth experience for app creation and software development, significantly accelerating cutting-edge technological innovations—solidifying Qt’s position as a leader in software application development and supporting the digitization of modern development processes.
